PureBronze Matte Bronzer in contouring

Bronzer Contouring Tips:

I still remember when someone asked me to write about .

how to use purebronze matte bronzer in contouring,

I was skeptical. I had never been really good at contouring. For example, I’d always attempt to contour my round, pale face but the bronzer would only make my face look orange.

Luckily, I knew just who to ask for help: Shawn, our makeup expert.

He was very gracious , and he explained, to my surprise, that bronzer can be applied on one’s face to make it firm.

According to Shawn, it’s preferred to use the primary glow before the secondary glow.

By doing this, then you are able to know where you should give your face some shape.

For use in highlighting, select a color that is slightly less than your skin tone.

You can also use a product that in some way gives you that brighter skin.

When you want to contour, make sure you have mixed the highlighter properly then use a contour brush to apply the bronzer on areas you wish to minimize.

Bronzer you can apply in specific places such as along your hair lin.

The hollows of the cheeks, in the middle of the nose and the jaw line. Here’s a tip: When you

begin contouring your jaw line, it’s more appropriate to begin at the back of your ear so that you can avoid coming across a straight line.

When you are done contouring then all that is remaining is to blend everything that you have done perfectly.

End just near the front hair line, then fade it as you go up to the middle of your face if you don’t want full beard.”

To get ready for makeup!

I first use a primer to make my skin smoother.

Then, I put a little bit of BB cream on my cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose and blend it in quickly. (A little goes a long way, so you have to start blending right away.)

For highlighter, I like something that shines, so I put a little under my eyes and on the high points of my face.  Also use a highlighter stick to add extra glow.

Use bronzer under my cheekbones, around my forehead, and under my jawline. I blend it in with my brush.

I don’t use blush on the apples of my cheeks because my face is round. Instead, I use a blush stick from my temple to the center of my cheek.

I fill in my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil, put shimmery eyeshadow on my eyelids, and use mascara to make my lashes longer.

Finally, I put on a coral lipstick.

When I looked in the mirror, I was surprised to see that my face looked more defined and lifted in a natural way. It didn’t look orange at all. (Thanks to Shawn for his great contouring tips!)”
